Quiet Place Day One – New Release

Look here’s the deal. Fewer and fewer people are going to the cinema. Can you blame them? We’ve all got internet enabled TV’s. We’re all used to having anything we want at the touch of a button.

BUT… cinema isn’t just the latest movie. Cinema is experience. Cinema is community. It’s about a magic process that translates a series of ones and zeroes into light and then transforms them before our eyes into an unfolding, captivating, human drama.

There was a time we’d all shop and watch a Meg Ryan romantic comedy and have a chuckle and feel a bit smushy together. That doesn’t happen any more… but what about a movie that started life as a quiet little indie gem and then grew and grew and eventually became a big-budget event movie with a post-apocalyptic theme and a neat audio conceit that Dolby can put through their super-fandango system and have us all on the edge of our seat.

What if The Quiet Place had an origin story? What if CineArk helped bring this to the big screen? Then do we have a word with Mr or Mrs special-one and say “how about we check out a movie this weekend?”

And if that ain’t selling it… just remember cinemas have air-conditioning.

Do it. Buy a ticket. Take a chance. Because the ultimate post-apocalyptic movie, is the one when cinemas no longer exist.

Quiet Place: Day One. Out now!
