CineArk is the trusted technical partner to the world’s most ambitious productions, from studio features to high-end television and broadcast. Operating from London, Dublin, and Cardiff, we specialise in video, RF, data, DIT, networking, and comms, with a focus on supporting physical production by connecting people and technology.
Broadcast and live events are becoming increasingly cinematic. Log colour workflows, live grading, cinema cameras, virtual production and augmented reality are now embedded within sports, concerts and large-scale live productions.
CineArk sits uniquely at this convergence.
We are seeking a Kit Room Technician to support the day-to-day duties of our Wales facility. Working from CineArk’s facility in Cardiff, the Kit Room Technician will play a vital role in ensuring our business runs smoothly, and our customers are satisfied. The right candidate will be process-driven with a good degree of flexibility, initiative and common sense.
You will also be required to travel and work at CineArk’s London and Dublin offices for short periods of time to cover demand at these locations.
You will be someone who enjoys problem solving and learning how to use technical equipment. You will be a team player with a positive outlook and a can-do attitude, and have a practical, hands-on approach with the ability to manage workload and work to strict deadlines with attention to detail.
The successful candidate will be provided with extensive training during their time as a Kit Room Technician, experiencing all areas of our Kit Room process: logistics, administration, driving, check-in, check-out and support, learning various skills and developing a detailed understanding of industry equipment. After this training period, we have exciting opportunities for progression within the growing company, or you’ll have an excellent grounding to prepare you for a future career on set as a film technician.
