Brief description of role

We are seeking a Shipping & Logistics Co-ordinator to support our growing Warehouse team. This exciting opportunity requires a self-motivated, focused and highly organised individual with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic to help us support many of the biggest feature film and TV productions based in the UK.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Coordinating shipping within the UK and internationally

  • Dealing with Customs for Imports and exports of goods

  • Following up items that are delayed 

  • Managing documentation and reports for lost and damaged, shipping and customs

  • Liaising with suppliers

  • Raising Purchase Orders for shipping and repairs

  • Daily meetings and action any follow-up needed

  • Management of the repair database

  • Procurement of goods as required

  • Receiving and processing new products – asset listing and uploading information onto our dedicated asset management system

  • Stock management of quarantined items

  • Ad hoc administrative tasks as needed

Candidate Requirements:

  • Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly

  • Confidence to chase-up suppliers for overdue repairs and reports

  • Common sense and initiative

  • Conscientious with a positive can-do attitude

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Discretion – working in highly sensitive areas of film production

  • Computer literate – strong competency with the MS Office suite – Excel, Word, Outlook, MacOS with the ability to learn new programs quickly

Desirable but not essential previous experience

  • Understanding of the process when sending goods with ATA CARNET

  • International Shipping

  • Exports & Imports of goods

Working Conditions

  • 42.5 hours per week, working shifts within our main hours of business (8 – 4:30pm or 9 – 5:30 pm)

  • Monday to Friday

  • Holiday – 20 days per year plus UK bank holidays
