Brief description of role

In this role, you will be responsible for recruitment activities including sourcing and coordinating candidates using both outbound and inbound strategies sourcing from multiple job boards/platforms, shortlisting potential candidates, attending interviews, initiating offers, and ensuring Right to Work checks have been conducted. You will work alongside the office manager, department heads and directors to assist in creating an effective and efficient HR strategy that can handle the company’s growth.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Process all administration associated with advertising job roles.

  • Actively headhunt suitable candidates using tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter. 

  • Create and maintain personnel files for potential candidates etc.

  • Be responsible for recruitment activities, including placing adverts, shortlisting, attending interviews and negotiating offers.

  • Build strong relationships in order to have a solid candidate database.

  • Any other HR / administrative duties as required by the business.

Essential Candidate Requirements

  • HR Experience

  • Degree/HR Qualification

  • Experience using databases and ideally be familiar with Monday.com.

  • Strong competency with Google Drive, the MS Office suite – Excel, Word, Outlook & Apple, with confidence and ability to learn new programs quickly

  • Highly professional and confidential

  • Common sense and initiative, with the ability to work unsupervised under pressure while working to tight deadlines

  • Conscientious with a positive can-do attitude

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to learn at a fast pace

  • Strong organisational and, time management skills

  • Flexibility – the company priorities often change unexpectedly, candidates need to possess the ability to switch tasks at short notice to meet the business needs.

  • Discretion – working in a highly sensitive area of film production.

  • A creative thinker with the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively.

  • Have excellent interpersonal skills, and be able to work collaboratively throughout an organisation.

  • Strong relationship building skills and the ability to work with people at all levels is essential.

  • Attention to detail, organisation, follow-through, initiative and ability to identify and anticipate challenges before they arise is key.

Working Conditions

  • Competitive salary linked to experience.

  • 40 hour week, Monday to Friday, 08.00-18.00 with a half-day off per week.

  • Holiday 28 days per year including bank holidays.

  • Scope for overtime.

  • Pension scheme.
